Director - For the past 25 years, Kevin McDowell was Chief Administrative Officer for AEG, the world's leading sports and live entertainment promoter and presenter which owns and operates venues, sports franchises, music festivals, entertainment districts, ticketing platforms, global sponsorships and innovative experiences. Kevin was primarily responsible for managing the company’s internal support systems. He oversaw these strategic initiatives for all of AEG’s enterprises worldwide.
Kevin’s role at AEG offered him the unique ability to blend his professional work with his passion for giving back to the community. He guided AEG businesses to embrace inclusiveness as a core value and encouraged everyone at all levels of the organization to fulfill this commitment. Included in the AEG LGBTQ+ Covenant created by Kevin was a partnership between AEG and Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors United which works to end homelessness among LGBTQ+ youth and involvement and support for the Stonewall Inn Give Back Initiative’s Safe Space Initiative.
Kevin has been recognized by municipalities and other organizations for his service and positive impact on local communities including the National Action Network’s Vanguard’s Corporate Citizens Award selected from Los Angeles’100 Most Influential African Americans and recently honored as Individual of the Year by United Negro College Fund (UNCF). He has served on several Boards of Directors including True Colors United and was Chairman of the Board for March of Dimes’ Southern California market.
Kevin and his husband, Dean, reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
