Archived 2025 event description

The 2025 Stonewall Inn Brick Awards Gala honored LGBTQ+ leaders from around the globe who carry forward The Stonewall Inn’s legacy of activism. The event benefited The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, the official nonprofit of The Stonewall Inn.

2025 Event FAQs

These details apply to the past December 8, 2025 gala.

  • This event will be catered with tray-passed hors d’oeuvres before the show with sweet treats after the show.  This may be enough for those with small appetites, but this is not meant to be a substitute for a normal-sized dinner.  We recommend making plans to supplement your evening with a light meal pre- or post-event.

    1. You must be at least 16 years of age or older to attend. Access to Alcoholic Beverages is reserved for those 21 years of age or older.  

    2. All guests must bring a valid form of photo I.D. to show at check-in to receive the appropriate credential and to consume Alcoholic Beverages on the premises.  The venue reserves the right to refuse service to guests who do not bring and show a valid form of I.D. at check-in.

  • There is no official Dress Code to attend this event, but based on last year’s event, we have a feeling people will want to dress to impress in smart casual to semi-formal inspired outfits. Whether you show up in sneakers or heels, we want you to be comfortable and, most important, authentically you!

  • Yes, the venue has a coat check

  • You may still show support in a number of ways, including making a donation to help achieve our fundraising goals.

  • At this time, there are no plans to live-stream or record the event for public viewing. Be sure to attend so you don’t miss a thing!
