SIGBI’s Mission
We are a non-profit charitable organization inspired by the struggles and ideals of the LGBTQ+ rights movement born from the Stonewall Inn Uprising of 1969. We are committed to eliminating the social intolerance that is profoundly impacting the lives of LGBTQ+ citizens throughout America and the world.
Through our safe spaces initiative, awareness campaigns, educational programming, fundraising, and candid public dialogue, we support grassroots organizations scattered across the globe, especially in communities where progress toward equality has been slow. We believe that the negative impact of ongoing discrimination and harassment can no longer be tolerated, and we work tirelessly toward building a more inclusive and just world.
Our Team
At SIGBI we are proud to have visionary leaders, thought leaders, and passionate advocates, that bring diverse perspectives, expertise, and a shared commitment to advancing equality and creating lasting change for LGBTQ+ folks everywhere.
Our corporate partners
SIGBI collaborates with like-minded corporate partners who share our vision of equality and inclusivity for all. These partnerships are vital to expanding our programs and ensuring that grassroots organizations worldwide receive the support they need. Our partners stand alongside us as advocates and co-conspirators for change, helping amplify our message and extend our impact.
