The Stonewall Inn Gives Back initiative Socitey awards grant to Alabama based TKO Society.

Fighting for justice and equality in Alabama and across the south, The Knights & Orchids Society (TKO) strives to build the power of the TLGB community for African Americans throughout rural areas there. Employing strategies that draw on group economics, education, leadership development and cultural work, TKO has provided nearly 80,000 pounds of food and essential supplies to almost 1,000 beneficiaries in the past year, and has raised over $97,000 for its FAITH HIV Education & Testing program.

This Pride, SIGBI is as thankful as ever for the work that @tko_alabama is doing for its communities, and the spirit of Stonewall that it represents. We are honored to be able to provide TKO with a $5,000 grant in support of its mission.
