The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI) is The Official Nonprofit of The Stonewall Inn, committed to eliminating the social intolerance that impacts LGBTQ+ individuals. Established in NYC at the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement, our work supports LGBTQ+ communities around the globe through awareness campaigns, educational programming, fundraising, and candid public dialogue.
Our Work
Our work centers on three connected areas of impact: Safe Spaces Certification; grants and community support; and advocacy, education and storytelling. Together, these programs carry Stonewall’s legacy forward for LGBTQ+ communities across the United States and around the globe.
