Ann Marie Gothard, Vice President, Corporate Media Relations, Henry Schein, Inc.
Advisor - Ann Marie is a seasoned communications professional whose experience in the health care industry spans nearly two decades, across sectors, and geographies. In February 2016, she joined Henry Schein, Inc., as Vice President, Corporate Media Relations, to develop and implement a global media relations strategy, with an emphasis on building and enhancing Henry Schein’s brand while also leading an integrated strategy to promote Henry Schein’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. Prior to joining Henry Schein, she was Senior Director, Communications Strategy, for EmblemHealth, a New York City-based health benefits and wellness company, where she was responsible for all corporate communications and employee brand engagement. Ann Marie also led marketing and communications for The Mount Sinai Medical Center; global communications and branding for ORBIS International, the nonprofit dedicated to eliminating avoidable blindness worldwide; internal and business communications for Aetna; and held leadership positions at several boutique PR firms, representing clients in the automotive, energy, and government sectors.
Ann Marie is a member of Professional Women in Healthcare, a delegate with SocialMedia.org, serves on the board of the Academy of Dentistry International Foundation, and is a founding member and Executive Sponsor of Henry Schein’s Women’s Leadership Network. She earned her BA in Government from Georgetown University, where she achieved athletic honors as a member of the women’s basketball team.
