The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI) is a nonprofit committed to eliminating the social intolerance that impacts LGBTQ+ individuals. Established in NYC at the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement, our work supports LGBTQ+ communities around the globe through awareness campaigns, educational programming, fundraising, and candid public dialogue.
Our Work
Our nonprofit work supports LGBTQ+ grassroots organizations scattered across the globe, especially in communities with slower progress towards equality, where continuing discrimination and harassment can no longer be tolerated.
Safe Space

Hosted in NYC, this is our annual fundraising gala to honor LGBTQ+ leaders from around the globe who continue The Stonewall Inn’s legacy of activism.
