Director - Stacy McWilliams is Vice President of International Development for Team Marketing & Business Operations at the National Basketball Association. Stacy McWilliams is Vice President of International Development for Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) at the National Basketball Association. She represents NBA team business interests internationally, working internally with key stakeholders and with NBA offices outside of the U.S. to develop marketing platforms, strategies for brand growth and revenue-generating sponsorship opportunities.
Prior to her current role at the NBA, McWilliams spent ten years on the NBA’s domestic business focused on team sponsorship, marketing and the ticketing business. Her responsibilities included work with teams, internal departments and external partners, including broadcast partners, marketing partners and agencies. In 2011, McWilliams relocated to Beijing, China to focus on all facets of the NBA China business. Since returning to New York City, she has continued to manage the NBA China relationship for TMBO, while expanding her International role with teams to work more broadly with the NBA’s twelve offices outside of the US.
Prior to joining the NBA, McWilliams began her career with the American Basketball League and held a ticket sales and game operations role at Madison Square Garden. She received a bachelor’s degree from Montclair University and a master of science degree from Smith College. She resides in New York City with her wife Nicole.
